It aims at fostering high-quality articles, both exegetical and critical, that may contribute to the renewal or progression of the study of topics, authors and schools from Ancient and Medieval to Contemporary Philosophy. The journal publishes articles in English, Portuguese, Spanish and French.</p> <p><em>Philosophica </em>was founded in 1993, at the University of Lisbon, and is a non-profit publishing venture, financed by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT).
